VICTORIA, BC: A new book authored by Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) President Troy Lanigan will hit book stores this week in conjunction with a 10-city tour to promote the book and celebrate the CTF’s 25th anniversary.

From Axe the Tax rallies opposing the GST in 1989 to the iconic National Debt Clock and the successful campaign to reform bloated parliamentary pensions, Fighting for Taxpayers details the people, the campaigns, and the ups and downs of one of Canada’s most successful citizen advocacy groups of the past quarter century.

“This book is a look back, but also a look ahead,” said author and CTF President Troy Lanigan. “The aging population, the power of government employee unions, the missing priority of infrastructure and the ideological war against economic development are all issues that will impact pocketbooks and prosperity going forward.”

The 10-city tour will start in Victoria on May 19th and finish in St. John’s on June 1st.
